ピアノ調律 2025.1.6 new
いつもピアノを診て頂いている調律師の先生に、アップライトピアノとグランドピアノの調律をお願いしました。
今回見えてきた課題は湿度でした。アップライトピアノはエアコンの近くに設置しているため、乾燥の影響を受けて木の収縮がどうしても起きてしまうとのこと。なので、今回はピンの交換を多めに行って頂き、前回より時間をかけて調律して頂きました。
冬は加湿器を近くに置いて対策していますが、梅雨の時期など湿度が高すぎるのも好ましくなく悩ましいところ。
ともあれ、春合宿シーズンが近づくにつれてピアノが目覚めたようです。ひとつずつ準備を進めていきます。
We requested our regular piano tuner to tune both the upright and grand pianos. This time, the issue that emerged was humidity. The upright piano is located near an air conditioner, which causes the wood to shrink due to dryness. So, this time, the tuner replaced more pins and gave tuning longer than last time. In winter, we place a humidifier near the air conditioner to prevent this issue, but the piano cannot tolerate excessive humidity, such as during the rainy season. It's quite a quandary.
Anyway, the piano seems to wake up as the spring camp season approaches. We will proceed with preparations step by step.
